Our Retrofit Revisit Research Shortlisted for Unlock Net Zero Awards

Amazing news! Our research, “Retrofit Revisit: 10 Case Studies,” co-authored by Marion Baeli, Principal of Sustainability Transformation, 10 Design; and Julie Godefroy, Head of Net Zero, CIBSE; has been recognised for its impact and innovation, earning a spot on the 2025 Unlock Net Zero awards shortlist in the 'Project Innovation of the Year – Community Retrofit' category.
It’s great to see awards like this recognising ground research and real collaboration – because progress happens when we share what we know. Retrofitting the UK’s homes is a huge challenge, and it’s encouraging to see it getting the attention it needs and deserves.
Supported by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, and Historic England, our research delves into the performance of 10 unique housing projects a decade after implementing deep retrofit measures. This was a collaborative effort, involving a dedicated team of evaluators and a supportive steering committee – congratulations to the entire team behind this achievement!
Roll on the awards ceremony in June, see you in Manchester!
